NEW YORK TIMES + SHARPIE = POEMS
Austin Kleon brings a new meaning to reading between the lines…as in he literally blocks select sentences out with a marker to create new messages from already published ones in the New York Times. His Newspaper Blackout Poems are a super cool idea, finding a message within the message. With a simple black sharpie (color is optional) you can create your own poetic meaning within the print media.
This is just one of the three creative usages for sharpies seen on this blog so far. See also Sharpie Car Tattoo + Sharpie Arm Tattoo.
